Saturday 17th June |

Went to Auswich today to visit the scene of the concentration camp. It is quite an experience, very atmospheric and thought provoking. Even just seeing the railway track where the trains came in is quite something. |
||
There has been a lot of thunder and rain which, coupled with the heat - about 28 degrees - makes the roads pretty awful. |
||
Staying in a great motel in Makow Podhalanski tonight which is costing 350 zlotych each which is 11 euros . Also visited a village called Bialla. |
