Huge thanks to
Szilvia
who took Bertie and Alastair shopping this morning so Bertie could get a camera. She spoke great English and without her help we would have come away empty handed. |
|
Lunch time today - 60 miles north west of Oradea Romania and it's 44 degrees. Another couple of hundred miles and we will be in Brasov, hopefully before we melt. |

The heat today has been overwhelming and meant we were unable to cover the mileage we had hoped. Took a break in the afternoon and decided to travel later on when it got a bit cooler - if it ever does. The roads are great in parts and awful in others a lot of lorries making pot holes, a bit like home. |

Arrived in Cluj-Napoca so have managed 199 miles today. Temperature is 18 degrees and it is 11pm local time, it just gets hotter the further South we go. Asked a taxi driver and he took us to the Hotel Rimini - this place is a palace, bit more expensive but what the heck, everywhere else has been cheap. |
